"Prayer For Peace" Original Painting by Debi Coules

"Prayer For Peace" was the second painting in my original angel fine art series. After completing "To Be Free", I was so struck by the grace and beauty of the angel that appeared on the canvas, I felt inspired to continue.

The gentle pose in "Prayer for Peace" is reminiscent of classical angel sculpture. But this angel has a sense of serenity as she prays for peace, a white rose tucked between her clasped hands. The soft, neutral colors are muted, further adding a feeling of tranquility.
