When I'm feeling "blue", I turn to painting French Hydrangeas. Hydrangeas come in a variety of colors (including pink), but their range of vintage blues are truly elegant and inspiring: from vibrant sapphire to faded baby blue. This summertime flower has an old-world charm that lends itself perfectly to Shabby Chic, Romantic Cottage, or French Country decorating styles.
