As I painted Where Petals Dream, I found myself thinking about the quiet beauty that exists in the simplest moments. Sometimes a few blossoms and unopened buds seem to tell their own story—a reminder that beauty isn't only found in full bloom, but also in the promise of what is yet to come.

I wanted these soft pink roses to feel light and airy, almost as though they had drifted onto the canvas with the morning breeze. Layer by layer, I built the petals using delicate shades of blush, ivory, and the palest touches of blue and sage green, allowing the flowers to unfold naturally. For me, painting is less about creating a perfect bouquet and more about capturing a feeling of peace, grace, and quiet joy.
