Vintage Bluebird & Roses Shabby Chic Mirror

I fell in love with this little vintage piece and gave it a new life with layers of soft, weathered color in a French Blue, creating that old-world, shabby chic character I love so much.

The frame is decorated with delicate hand-painted roses, soft foliage, a sweet little bluebird, and a tiny nest, giving it the feeling of a quiet garden found somewhere in the French countryside. I lightly distressed the finish to let some of the original character show through and then gave it a beautiful hand-rubbed finish for a softly aged, timeworn appearance.

It is signed by me and would make such a pretty little accent tucked into a cottage bedroom, dressing area, gallery wall, or anywhere you want to add a touch of vintage romance.
