Bluebirds and Roses Large Antique Beadboard Wooden Panel Hand-painted by Debi Coules

I love giving old wood a second life, and this beautiful piece is one of my favorites. I hand-painted soft blush roses and sweet bluebirds on authentic antique beadboard, allowing the weathered texture, aged patina, and character of the wood to become part of the artwork itself. Every knot, groove, and timeworn imperfection tells a story that simply can't be recreated on new wood.

This original painting measures 41" x 13" and is created on reclaimed solid antique beadboard with a lovely hand-rubbed finish that enhances its vintage charm while protecting the artwork for years to come. It's a substantial piece that looks beautiful displayed above a mantel, buffet, sofa, bed, or entry table, adding a touch of cottage, shabby chic, farmhouse, or French country style to your home.

Each piece I create is completely hand-painted, signed, and one of a kind. Because I work with genuine antique wood, no two will ever be exactly alike. The natural distressing, old nail holes, and beautiful imperfections are all part of its history and what make it so special.
